3CX is a one of the leading VoIP platforms out there, While 3CX offers several advantages, there are also some downsides to consider. Here are some pros and cons of 3CX PBX:

 

Pros:

  1. One of the biggest pros is that, the pricing method is different than most VoIP providers, they go but channels / concurrent calls , as oppose to extensions. So if you have many extensions, but don’t need as much concurrent calls , this is a good solutions for you.

 

  1. Easy to install: 3CX is straightforward to install and can be set up in minutes.
  2. Flexibility: 3CX supports a wide range of devices, including desk phones, softphones, and mobile devices, giving users the flexibility to choose the device that suits their needs.
  3. Cost-effective: Since 3CX is software-based, it eliminates the need for expensive hardware and reduces maintenance costs.

Bottom line, if you don’t have a dedicated I.T. or a tech savvy employee to deal with the system, I would choose a provider that offer technical support. They do have the on premises option , but if you don’t have a solid fail over redundant  internet and power, I would chose the cloud solution. 3CX has been out there for a while, and provide a really solid VoIP solution.
